Helping victims of domestic abuse give evidence in Family Law and other civil proceedings.
I am your advocate, and support, in the most traumatic time of your life. You've escaped or been discarded, by the person who was supposed to love you, and you've found yourself floundering in a legal system that doesn't know how to deal with the invisible abuse you've endured for so long.
I see it because it was my life, my experience, and I see the details in cases the lawyers overlook. I no longer provide support in parenting matters

Who am I?
I am a trained counsellor who has been assisting in family law for over a decade.
For many years, a dedicated junkie of public speaking events – from Local Council Committee meetings to Trials in the Magistrates’, County, Family, and Federal Circuit Courts, I finally found an opportunity to become more intimately involved when I started working for, then married, and ultimately divorced, a family law barrister, which gave me the first hand lived experience you need.
My own experience of family law, plus the decade of supporting clients through the court process, has given me what one barrister described as a singularly unique perspective into the mechanics of trial preparation, and the impact poor preparation has on case outcomes, because I've had a foot in every camp now. I've been at the trial end working with barristers. I've been a party myself in family law. I've been through the dreadful family violence sector as an invisible, unseen, legally abused victim. I've been dragged through various jurisdictions by perpetrators determined to make me the abuser - unsuccessfully I hasten to add, but nevertheless traumatic.
I have a unique and exceptionally nuanced lay associates perspective on how trials pan out – mistakes, shortcomings, good points, bad witness behaviour, poor cross examination, sloppy preparation.
My skills in assisting clients and their legal team to present well in the witness box, with a thoroughly researched and evidenced brief, have enabled my clients to achieve far better outcomes than they ever would have without my assistance. I'm proud of the work I do, and the outcomes my clients achieve, even if it's just being heard and validated.
I specialise in the Family Law arena, with a strong focus on the invisible abuse from narcissistic, coercively controlling parties who use the legal system to further abuse their exes. I specialise in finding the evidence the lawyers miss, ignore, or outright dismiss.
I follow the evidence and help clients build cases that have merit, rather than just allegations that go nowhere.
Support is also available for any other area requiring preparation and advice on presentation.
